Syflex Peristaltic Pumps

Syflex is a peristaltic (hose) pump built to last in the toughest environments. With only one wearing part - the hose - it handles abrasive, high-solids, corrosive, shear-sensitive and viscous fluids that defeat other pumps. Its seal-less design removes sealing and flush-water costs, while low running speeds keep energy use down.

Overview

The Syflex range is a peristaltic, or hose, pump designed to keep running in the most demanding conditions. A single hose is the only wearing and wetted part, so there are no seals to fail, no seal-water flushing to pay for, and nothing in the fluid path but the hose itself. That makes Syflex equally at home transferring, dosing or emptying abrasive and high-solids slurries (up to 80% solids), high-density, corrosive, shear-sensitive, viscous, crystallising and even multiphase or gaseous fluids.

Built for tough applications, the pump is self-priming with a high suction lift, fully reversible, and can run dry without ancillary protection. Maintenance is quick and can be done on site: a unique hose quick-release allows a hose change in just a few minutes, minimising downtime. With its inherently low running speed the Syflex also draws little energy, helping to keep cost of ownership down. One pump covers a wide spread of duties across general industry, wastewater, mining and food applications.
