Overview
3P Prinz (PERA-PRINZ) positive-displacement pumps use two pairs of non-contact screws to provide a constant, pulsation-free flow, with high suction capability and low NPSH requirements. They are available in horizontal or vertical installation, side-top or side-side configuration, and baseplate-mounted in non-API or API type, with a wide range of drive units including close-coupled compact versions. The contactless twin-screw principle with timing gears is a much longer-life solution than twin screws with rotors in contact, and the range can be produced in materials from cast iron up to special alloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Alloy 20 and Duplex / Super Duplex, selected to suit the fluid, temperature and environment.
