Hygienic PD Series

The Ampco range of hygienic positive-displacement pumps is particularly suited to all types of food and dairy processing, as well as cosmetics, lotions and pharmaceutical products. It offers performance up to 310 gpm, up to 500 psi, and viscosities up to 1,000,000 centipoise, and chocolate-clearance rotors are available.

The series spans rotary piston (ZP) and rotary lobe (AL) pumps, widely regarded as among the best values in the industry. The AL Series are rotary lobe pumps; the ZP1 Series is fully interchangeable with the competition and certified to 3A sanitary standards; the ZP1+ enhances the ZP1 design; the ZP2 is CIP-able; the ZP3 adds a patented front-loading seal for full CIP capability; and the PE (Premium Economy) line offers fully assembled, remanufactured pumps held in stock. A remanufacturing programme is also available.

Across the range the pumps offer a hygienic, sanitary design with 3A-certified and CIP-able options (ZP2 and ZP3), handle very high viscosities up to 1,000,000 cP, can be fitted with chocolate-clearance rotors, and remain interchangeable with common competitor pumps. Performance reaches capacities up to 310 gpm, pressures up to 500 psi and viscosities up to 1,000,000 cP.
