AL Series Pumps
All Ampco AL Series pumps include a stainless steel gear case, standard.
The AL Series is well suited for a variety of applications including food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical. AL pump viscosity ranges from 1 to 1,000,000 centipoise.
Self-priming capabilities up to 12 feet and flow rates up to 230 GPM make the AL a versatile, yet economical pump for a variety of processing applications.
AL Series rotary lobe pumps are an economical alternative to rotary piston pumps in certain applications. AL pumps offer a stainless steel gear case and a front loading seal design with superior CIP-ability and ease of maintenance. All AL pumps are EHEDG certified and in conformance with 3A sanitary standards.
ZP1 Series Pumps
Ampco Pumps ZP Series rotary piston pumps are the best value in the industry. Every new Ampco ZP Series pump includes these standard features:
-304 stainless steel gear case
-Stainless splash plate which helps reduce damage to bearings
from water intrusion during the wash-down process (major cause
of bearing failure)
-Stainless bearing retainers
-Threaded grease nipple
-Anti-microbial lube and gasketed stainless steel clean-out plugs
The ZP1 is 100% dimensionally and hydraulically interchangeable with the competition. All ZP1 Series pumps are certified and in conformance with 3A sanitary standards. Some common applications for the ZP1 include bakery, beverages, candy, canned foods, cosmetics, dairy, dressings, flavorings, meats and much more.
With seal modifications like the PTFE double lip seal, the ZP1 can be used for industrial and chemical applications, oil, gas and fracking industries. The ZP1 offers durability as well as chemical and wear resistance. For a great value in a positive displacement pump Ampco’s ZP1 is a great choice.
Ampco’s extensive inventory of ZP1 parts are ready for immediate shipping, 100% interchangeable, cost effective and reliable. ZP1 is an easy choice.
QTS TWIN SCREW PUMP
Ampco’s QTS Twin Screw pump meets 3A Sanitary Standards, is made of 316L stainless steel, and is fully CIP-able.
The QTS is capable of bi-directional flow and speeds up to 3000 rpm allowing this single pump to perform both processing and CIP using the same unit. The QTS moves soft solids delicately, without damaging the product or compromising visual integrity. Capable of reaching high suction rates, the QTS is self-priming and the low NPSH is the perfect solution for tank emptying.
The QTS handles up to 60% entrained air reducing cavitation and allowing for constant gentle product flow even at high speeds.
The QTS offers multiple seal options and screw pitch angles for each model. Affordable replacement seals and screws are readily available for quick delivery.
Applications include but are not limited to; ice cream, yogurt, personal care products, abrasive products, chemicals, juice, sauces, butter, toothpaste, mayonnaise, and chocolate.

ZP1+ SERIES PUMP
Ampco Pumps continues to bring innovation to the sanitary pump market by enhancing the traditional design of the popular ZP1 pump with the ZP1+ (available in models 30 and larger).
This recently patented design changes the position of the static and dynamic O-rings. ZP1+ O-rings can be changed without disconnecting the pump from the piping system, providing easy maintenance and reduced downtime. The secondary sleeve/spring assembly will seal the pump if the rotors are removed for CIP processing.
In addition, ZP1 pumps can be converted to a ZP1+ design during the remanufacturing process at no additional charge. Consider the maintenance time savings and reduced downtime and this engineered advancement will pay for itself quickly.
Consider the costs – ZP1+ / ZP1 new pump pricing is the same
– Fluid end parts are not interchangeable between the two series (this includes seals, sleeves, rotors, and body)

ZP2 Series Pumps
Ampco’s ZP2 Series pumps have been designed with a larger shaft and cleaner rotor nuts than the ZP1 which makes the ZP2 CIP-able. The ZP2 is capable of withstanding pressures of up to 450 PSI and is 3A Certified.
As with all ZP Series pumps, the ZP2 pump includes these standard features:
-304 stainless steel gear case
-stainless splash plate reducing damage to bearings from water
intrusion during the wash-down process (a major cause of
-Stainless bearing retainers
-17-4ph shafts, helical gears
-Threaded grease nipples
-Anti-microbial lube and gasketed stainless steel clean-out
The ZP2, like the ZP1, is 100% part-for-part, hydraulically, and dimensionally interchangeable with the competition. Contact us today to find the right ZP Series pump for your application.
ZP3 Series Pumps - Fully CIP-able
Ampco Pumps raises the bar with the introduction of the ZP3 Series of positive displacement pumps.
The recently patented front-loading seal design of the ZP3 offers a fully CIP-able pump without modifications or loss of efficiency. The front loading design allows the seal to be easily maintained or changed and the newly designed rotor case eliminates all dead zones.
Every new Ampco ZP pump includes these standard features:
-304 stainless steel gear case, stainless splash plate protecting the bearing seal face
-stainless bearing retainers
-threaded grease nipples
-gasketed stainless steel clean-out plugs
The ZP3 Series is EHEDG Certified and in conformance with 3A sanitary standards and the ATEX directive.
In addition to being fully “clean in place”, the seal can be serviced without the need to remove the rotor body and piping. Also, the front loading nature of the seal eliminates the “dead zone’ in the shaft bore. Existing ZP2 pumps (and competitors’ pumps) can be upgraded to the ZP3 design with new rotors, new seals and re-machining the existing rotor case.
Existing ZP2 and competing models can be upgraded to a ZP3 design with new rotors, seals and re-machining the existing rotor case.
Whether you simply want to replace your existing ZP1 / ZP2 style pump or you prefer to upgrade to Ampco’s new ZP3 design with improved CIP-ability and ease of maintenance, Ampco’s ZP Series is the smart choice.
Ampco ZP3. The new standard in positive displacement pumps.
Front-loading seals are located closer to the product flow, offering improved CIP-ability with no disassembly required.
Front-loading seals allow for ease of maintenance and reduced service time.
EHEDG certified and in conformance with 3A sanitary standards and the ATEX directive.
As opposed to our competitors’ similar pumps, this seal is a better balanced design which generates less heat and promotes longer seal life.
Cover design maximizes exposure of the cover o-ring to the CIP fluid.
Free drain design improves CIP-ability while maintaining maximum pump efficiency.
CIP holes in rotor ensure turbulent flow to the cover hub.
Elimination of dead zones in shaft bore improves cleanability and increases seal life.
The ZP3 pump is mounted on a ZP2 gear case, including shafts, to maximize parts interchangeability.
Existing ZP2 pumps (and our competitors’ similar pumps) can be upgraded to the ZP3 design with new rotors, new seals and re-machining the existing rotor case.
New pumps can be reconditioned 2 to 3 times.
